TOP OF THE CLASS DUO.

TWO young sisters have struck a blow for girl power after being named the best students in their martial arts class. Eight year old Lowri Kadelka-Williams and her sister Mabli six, were presented with student of the year awards at their Lau Gar kung fu class at Holywell Leisure Center. Instructor Brian Nelson, who put forward the girls for the award said; ‘’Since they started, the girls have come on leaps and bounds.

They were only tiny dots when they first came to my class 18 months ago and they are two different girls now. They haven’t missed a single class since they started –their dad brings them every Saturday and the only time they haven’t been here is when they were on holiday. Brian, who has been teaching youngsters Lau Gar kung fu for several years, has high hopes for Lowri and Mabli who were thrilled with their first award. He said: ‘’ They seem to really enjoy it and were so excited to get their shields, I think they are the youngest students ever to get the award.’’
